Kansas has one of the earliest muzzleloader seasons in the country, taking place in mid-September prior to archery season. This gives hunters the unique opportunity to hunt unmolested bucks when they are still in bachelor groups and in the early season feeding mode. Conditions can vary from cool to blazing hot, be prepared as the mid-west is unpredictable at best. Hunt includes guide and lodging during the hunt. Tag is not included. The black powder season is hunted using a rifle tag.
